Embossed Birthday Sentiment!

When I am in need of a birthday card and I don't have any ideas, I make a card like the following:

It is easily made and the the matching ribbon, flower and button are an eye catcher.

This is another contribution for the church renovation Christkindl Market in Vienna. I love the Lawn Fawn paper "Let's Bokeh in the Snow" together with the penguin stamp and the polaroid die from Mama Elephant.

Captured Snowflakes!

A dear friend of mine from Vienna asked me if I can make a couple of Christmas card, which she can sell at the Christkindl Market of her church in order to raise money for the badly needed renovation.
As I won't send Christmas cards this year as we will make a "year in review" family picture I was happy to help her.
The patterned paper is from the Lawn Fawn paper pack "Let's Bokeh in the snow", the snowflakes are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the polaroid is from the Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Creative Cuts Die Set.
In German we have a Christmas Carol which is called "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen". In the song we ask the snow flakes: "When are you coming to town?"

Frosty Snowman!

I just bought the first ski boots for my daughter today at a ski flee market, although winter and snow seems far away right now. But I was already in the mood to create some winter and christmas cards.
At the moment I love to use my Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Creative Die Set with all different kind of images like the snow man in the snow globe from Sixxiz. The background paper is from the Lawn Fawn Paper Pack "Let's Bokeh in the Snow".

Something to say!

Today, I actually show you one of my Valentine's Day cards I made this year for my best friend, to say how glad I am to have her in my live. I simply used a lovely patterned paper, added a sentiment on pink transparency and finished it with pink ribbon and a pink button.

Thanks to the nursery nurses!

My daughter turned three just now and finished her year at the crèche to start with kindergarten. In the crèche she had three wonderful nursery nurses and I made them "thank you" cards together with a gift. I just learned the watercolor technique and I had to use it. It is sooo much fun and the outcome is amazing. You will see more watercolor cards on my blog from now on! ;-)

Halloween Polaroid Greetings!

As Halloween is not a big deal here in our area I made a Halloween card for a friend of mine, who is living in the USA. She and her three girls always have amazing costumes and a fantastic decorated house and the kids collect tons of sweets each year. She just texted me three days ago that she already received this card:

I used the Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Creative Die Cut set for it. I enter this card in the following challenges:

My first baby card!

This is my first baby card I made in March 2012 when I attended a Scrapbooking Workshop in Vienna at Stoffsalon. Then, I didn't have any clues of the countless techniques, supplies, etc. you can use for Scrapbooking. I just found the picture and I wanted to show it to you. My Scrapbooking passion started with this card ...

Embossed Washi Tape #2!

I made a similar card already but then I used just blue washi tapes. I like the idea of embossed washi tape I saw on Pinterest. This time I used bright and shiny colors. Once again I love the outcome of that clean and simple card!

Birthday Greetings behind Sizoweb!

I fell in love with the use of sizoweb on my cards. The pink birthday sentiment is done with heat embossing. Unfortunately, you can hardly see it on the picture. In real it looks much better. I added pink ribbon, some flowers with brads and a butterfly to it.

Confetti Grid!

When I bought the Marianne Design Collectables Cutting Dies - Family Owl COL1357, I made a series of cards with different backgrounds. For this card I used an embossing folder on white card stock and put a Confetti Grid  from Creatables Marianne Design stencil - Confetti LR0342 above it. The matching flower brads give the card the final touch.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Fred!

I needed a birthday card for an uncle  of my mum who turned 80. As I haven't use Washi Tapes for a while I made this card only with Washi Tapes and used no designer paper at all. I was inspired by a card from  "A Christy Production" I saw on Pinterest.

For the numerics I used blue glitter embossing powder and my heat embossing gun. The sentiment is from the Stampin'Up set "Zur Feier des Tages". The buttons and the brad give the card the final touch.

Floral Embellishments!

I bought a new set of paper flowers and wanted to use them right away. I was inspired by a card from Jenfa Cards. I didn't use a sentiment as I didn't want to ruin it. I like the twirl of the stem as they fit perfectly to the embossing folder.

Lots of Ribbon!

I don't use ribbon that much, so when I saw the card from Cristina Kowalczyk I knew what to do with my different kind of ribbons. As I have so much ribbon in all kind of blue tones I made a male card and surprised my grandfather with it to his 87th birthday.

55 1/2 birthday party gift!

Me and my mum were invited to a 55 1/2 years birthday party of a dear friend of ours. Why did she celebrate her 55 1/2 birthday you may ask? Her birthday is originally in January and she always wanted to have a summer party on her birthday, like she could have when living in New Zealand or Australia for example. Here in Austria it is always cold and wet in January.
She wants to make a cruise next year from Le Hawre to New York on a cargo ship as her grand mother did many years ago. So all her friends made money presents to support her dream.

I used a white stretched canvas, turned it around and put all kind of stuff related to a summer birthday party and holiday/road trip on it. On the right is a small peg where I put the envelope with the money. I also used two rub-ons with beautiful sentiments which are suitable for our friendship and memories we won't forget, like this party.
