I never showed you my second diaper cake I made for a friend of mine who welcomed their second son. This time I used the Stampin'UP stamp sets "Zoo Babies" and "All in the Family" for it and wrote his name with washi tape. I was looking for the pictures as I want to make a diaper cake again soon, as one of my best friends is due with her second baby girl within the next days.
On Tuesday, an old friend of mine celebrates his birthday. Although, he will get 41 I made him a card using "Zoo Babies" from Stampin'up with a jungle patterned paper and coordinating ribbon.
An old friend of mine in Austrialia welcomed a baby girl recently and I wanted to send a card around the world. I used the elephant stamp from the SU stamp set "zoo babies" and kept the rest quite simple:
A friend of mine welcomed a baby boy last week. As two other friends and I will visit the new arrival in two weeks I thought of a present. At the moment I love to use my "Zoo babies" stamps from stampin'up.
Scanning various scrapbooking galleries for inspiration, I saw a project at http://remarkablycreated.com/ where Janet Wakeland made a diaper cake using the Zoo Babies as decoration. Immediately, I knew that want to try one too and that this will be my present for Gerwin.
Here is my version, a three layer diaper cake:
I used a criss-cross stitch to create separated segments between the animals and make it look like crafted sleeves. On top, I sewed a blue ribbon on every sleeve. The cherry on top are the two blue flags saying "a gift for baby" and the dummies.
