Today, I show you the mother's day card I made for my mother this year. I used kraft card stock and used red heat embossing powder on a mandala background stamp.

Mother's Day Word Cloud!

To create this card I borrowed an embossing folder from my best friend Christine and colored it with my Distress Inks to create an ombre background. Behind the big heart I stamped a "word cloud" from Stempelbox.

I made a series of mother's day cards with this technique: gold embossing powder on red card stock with a golden frame from the My Favorite Things "Die-namics Single Stitch Line Rounded Rectangle Frames". The background stamp is My Favorite Things "Floral Fantasy Background".

Mothers Day 2015!

In Austria we already celebrated Mothers Day on Sunday. My mum and my grandmothers all got the same card this year, as it was so much fun to make it. I was inspired by a card on Pinterest by Stampin' with Fanny.  Unfortunately, on my picture you can't see the piered heart behind the two banners.

Mother's Day Card using Sizoweb!

Today, I show you my first card where I used some sizoweb. A birthday present of mine was wrapped in lots of sizoweb and I was wondering for a couple of months what I should do with it. When I was sitting by my sewing machine lately, I thought I try how well sizoweb holds on paper. It works great! I was so enthusiastic that I made five cards that night using sizoweb.
I also tried the heat embossing technique with the sentiment "LOVE". It also works, but here I chose with silver the wrong colour.

Heart bunting flag!

My mother's day card for this year:

I saw the idea on Pinterest where it was used as a wedding thank you card. I wanted to use my sewing machine again for quite some time, so this card came at the right time.
I created the blue edges around the sentiment with the heat embossing technique. Furthermore, this idea is a great way to use scraps.

First Mother and Daughter creations!

Yesterday evening I made Mother's Day cards for my two grandmothers, my mom and my mother-in-law.
My little daughters favorite activity at the moment is painting. So I thought I use parts of her very first drawings for the cards and leave the rest of the layout the same.

Aren't they beautiful? For the sentiment I used the heat embossing technique once more.
