Birthday greetings from Nina!

In Austria we had a fabulous crafting magazine called "kleinformat". Unfortunately, the owner had to stop printing it this summer and continues with a blog. In one of the editions I got, I read an article about "Nina and Other Little Things". I liked Nina immediately! It turned out that you can order a Nina stamp online. I did so, and made a birthday card for my best friend using the Nina stamp.

I hope you like the stamp too:

Greetings from Nina

I used the "Hearts a flutter" dies to create the garland.

My first diaper cake!

A friend of mine welcomed a baby boy last week. As two other friends and I will visit the new arrival in two weeks I thought of a present. At the moment I love to use my "Zoo babies" stamps from stampin'up.
Scanning various scrapbooking galleries for inspiration, I saw a project at http://remarkablycreated.com/ where Janet Wakeland made a diaper cake using the Zoo Babies as decoration. Immediately, I knew that want to try one too and that this will be my present for Gerwin.

Here is my version, a three layer diaper cake:

I used a criss-cross stitch to create separated segments between the animals and make it look like crafted sleeves. On top, I sewed a blue ribbon on every sleeve. The cherry on top are the two blue flags saying "a gift for baby" and the dummies.

Good Night, Baby!

I bought a cute Baby paper set from trimcraft a while ago. As a friend of mine is expecting in the next couple of days, I already made a baby card for her.
This time it is a clean and simple card:

Let's go orange!

Today I was in the mood to use simply orange and yellow.
For the yellow paper and the butterflies I used two different embossing folders.
I finished it up with some embellishments and ribbon.

Party People!

For this funny birthday card I combined my "All in the family" and "Party Hearty" stamp set from Stampin'up. To get all the different colored hats it took longer than I thought. One reason was, that the ink didn't dry very fast on this white paper of mine. I found a suitable brad for every hat and inked the edges of the white paper with pink. Finally, a button as ornament.
