The brighter flowers are made with the heat embossing technique as well as the sentiment. The other flowers are simply stamped with red ink. I wanted to have some contrast on the card.
To top it off, I stuck 2 buttons with white lace and a big ladybird on it. I think it is a perfect card for a birthday girl in May.
I enter this card in the following challenges:
- Crafty Catz #276: Things with wings

AntwortenLöschenNice card, Lizzie! I like the repetition of the panels, the flowers & the buttons... and of course any time you heat emboss, that extra detail always impresses the receiver! Delighted you are sharing this project & your creativity at Aud Sentiments!

AntwortenLöschenGorgeous card Lizzie. Interesting interpretation of our 'Lace' challenge. I'm guessing you were thinking lace like lace up shoes? The buttons look fab done this way and that ladybug is really sweet. Thanks so much for joining in with our 'Lace' challenge at Fab 'n' Funky. We hope you'll come back and join in the fun again. Hugs, Wends x Fab 'n' Funky DT
