Girly treasure box!

For my daughters first birthday I made  her a treasure box using a cigar box from my late father. When she is older she can keep her hairslides, love letters, etc. in there. Until then, I keep it in a safe place because otherwise she will ruin it in an instance.

I used lots of pink paper, washi tape, pearls and stickers. Meanwhile, I also found the perfect lock for it.

  6. I love that your daughter will be able to store her treasures in her late grandfather's cigar box. It connects them in a lovely way. The altering of the box is beautifully done.   7. What a wonderful project. My father used to smoke cigars and I had many a cigar box....but not being in the paper crafting portion of my life...they NEVER looked this good. She'll love it when she's older. Thank you for joining us at Paper Nest Dolls. Heidi - PND DT
