For this birthday card I used a red card stock and two patterned paper with birthday items. The red stamped cake is from the Stampin'Up set "Make a Cake". For the numerics I used black glitter embossing powder and my heat embossing gun. The sentiment is from the Stampin'Up set "Zur Feier des Tages".
My god son celebrated his graduation from High School in July, and I made my first graduation card, using the Family Owl from Marianne Design Collectables Cutting Dies for the first time. I love that owl!!!
The garland and the sentiments are from the Marianne Design set "Let's Party". The colors from the garlands are so bright because I used the heat embossing technique.
My cousins daughter celebrated her 5th birthday in July and I made her the following card, using the Stampin'up "All in the family" girl in the middle circle. I used the heat embossing technique on the corners of all circles.
My best friends daughter celebrated her 3rd birthday recently. I added two glitter fishes out of foam rubber to the patterned paper as well as a birthday cake sticker and some embellishments.
I bought a new set of paper flowers and wanted to use them right away. I was inspired by a card from Jenfa Cards. I didn't use a sentiment as I didn't want to ruin it. I like the twirl of the stem as they fit perfectly to the embossing folder.
I don't use ribbon that much, so when I saw the card from Cristina Kowalczyk I knew what to do with my different kind of ribbons. As I have so much ribbon in all kind of blue tones I made a male card and surprised my grandfather with it to his 87th birthday.
