BBQ Invitation!

It is my mother-in-laws birthday in August and we want to make a BBQ for her and some family members. Therefore, I made individual birthday party invitations.

That's one of it:

I used two of my frame dies and embossed the big one afterwards. On the smaller one I wrote "Einladung - invitation" and used some brown distress ink for the edges.

Baptism Helena!

For the baptism of my friends baby girl Helena I made another card similar to the one I already made for the baptism of Sebastian. But I like the style inspired by Alex from Stoffsalon. I have criss-crossed a thread over the top to create an additional depth effect where I place the main title of the card.

Fabric Birthday Wishes!

For my partners birthday I made a card using some different kind of blue fabric I had left. I love to sew on my cards. Furthermore, I added some buttons. And voilà, I think this card looks quite vintage.

UP in the air!

From time to time on clear and sunny days, you can see hot air baloons in the air.
When I surfed on http://www.makeandcreate.se/ I got the idea of this 3D hot air baloon which I liked very much. What else can you find in the sky? Planes and clouds. Here we go!

The cloud is made out of a cotton pad.

First Honeycomb Card!

I just got my first order from "Stampin'up". Just before the new catalogue got out I ordered some "old" stamps and embossing folders I liked from the old catalogue. The first thing I tried out was the honeycomb embossing folder as I have seen so many beautiful cards using this style.

I made this card without any occasion coming up, but I am sure that it won't be long until I put it in the mail. I can't wait to try all the other Stampin'up things I bought.

My friend in Boise, ID gave birth to her 3rd daughter, Oliv. Reason to create another baby card.

Squeeze Me

I have bought a beautiful paper from "imaginisce" called "Berrylicious - Just Peachy". When I saw the current challenge from Simon Says I knew immediately that I have to use this paper for it.
When I wanted to cut a straw out of paper my partner said: "Why don't you use a real one?" I didn't think about it, but it gives the card a deeper 3D effect.

The camera didn't get the colours right. The orange background and the yellow glass are much brighter as on the picture.
