A dear friend of mine from Vienna asked me if I can make a couple of Christmas card, which she can sell at the Christkindl Market of her church in order to raise money for the badly needed renovation.
As I won't send Christmas cards this year as we will make a "year in review" family picture I was happy to help her.
The patterned paper is from the Lawn Fawn paper pack "Let's Bokeh in the snow", the snowflakes are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the polaroid is from the Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Creative Cuts Die Set.
In German we have a Christmas Carol which is called "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen". In the song we ask the snow flakes: "When are you coming to town?"
I just bought the first ski boots for my daughter today at a ski flee market, although winter and snow seems far away right now. But I was already in the mood to create some winter and christmas cards.
At the moment I love to use my Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Creative Die Set with all different kind of images like the snow man in the snow globe from Sixxiz. The background paper is from the Lawn Fawn Paper Pack "Let's Bokeh in the Snow".
Today, I actually show you one of my Valentine's Day cards I made this year for my best friend, to say how glad I am to have her in my live. I simply used a lovely patterned paper, added a sentiment on pink transparency and finished it with pink ribbon and a pink button.
My best friend loves butterflies, so I made her a birthday card with lots of butterflies on it. I used the honeycomb embossing folder for the background.
I made a clean and simple winter card using the heat embossing technique for the snow flakes. The snow globe is from the Sizzix framlits and clear stamp set "mittens and snow globe".
My daughter turned three just now and finished her year at the crèche to start with kindergarten. In the crèche she had three wonderful nursery nurses and I made them "thank you" cards together with a gift. I just learned the watercolor technique and I had to use it. It is sooo much fun and the outcome is amazing. You will see more watercolor cards on my blog from now on! ;-)
For this card I just used purple paper, purple ribbon and purple heat embossing powder and on top of it I sewed some white sizoweb. The purple Martha Steward Monarch Butterfly is the eye catcher of the card.
