Lots of Bannerets!

I got a new stamp set from Stampin'up called "Im Fähnchenfieber" and made a birthday card series of four with it on one evening.
Today, I want to share with you the first card of my series:

I used two red washi tapes on top and bottom and highlighted two bannerets each with a rhinestone.
I really like the color combo of this card!

Happy Birthday in Monochromatic!

I saw that two challenge blog require something wooden and another blog's topic is monochromatic.
So I made the following card using my favourite woodgrain embossing folder and the Martha Stewart monarch butterfly punch again in my favourite color purple:
