Birthday Planes!

My godson celebrated his 17th birthday last week and I had to think about a suitable birthday card for him. As he has a technical gift I thought that the plane paper I got was just perfect for him.
I simply cut out clouds with my new cloud die cut and used the "happy birthday" stamp and that's it:

My cousin welcomed a baby boy some time ago and I made the following baby card for them:

I have a cute paper with baby symbols I cut out for it and thought that red stitches would be a nice contrast for the edges.

Birthday ... inspired by Orchid!

I need a lot of birthday cards in the next couple of weeks. For this card I used the Stampin'up Set "Make a Cake" again. I printed the sentiment "you take the cake" directly on the ribbon. It is a little bit hard to read on the picture.

Winter fun!

We haven't seen any snow in our region so far this winter. So I thought it is time to create the winter myself. I used my brand new "Hot of the Press" stamp set "Penguins" and my new embossing folder "checkered".

As my sewing machine was just in use, I sewed a little bit of ribbon on the left bottom edge.
Looks like they are freezing! ;-)

I got inspired by a card from Michelle Surette which I saw on Pinterest. I don't have the cute SU owl punch but I got lovely owl stickers I wanted to use for quite some time, and now I had the perfect theme for it.
